Clay Bibb joined Miramar Designs as Production Manager in March 1986 and became President in 1987. In 2001 Clay added VP Operations to his duties and agreed to be responsible for all operational aspects of the company, including production, project management, engineering, and design. Clay was promoted to Chief Operations Officer early in 2008 and assumed the Sales and Marketing responsibilities later that year. As COO, Clay co-manages the company with its Chief Financial Officer, Andrew Carter.
Before joining Miramar, Clay worked for R-O Manufacturing and the Drilco Division of Smith International Inc. He received his B.B.A. in Management from Texas A&M University in December of 1980.
Chief Financial OfficerAndrew Carter joined Miramar Designs as Corporate Controller in October 2001, bringing 12 years of cost/managerial accounting experience, including 6 years of Controller experience in manufacturing environments. Andrew was promoted to VP Finance in 2007 and promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2008. As CFO, Andrew co-manages the company with its Chief Operations Officer, Clay Bibb.
Prior to joining Miramar, Andrew served as Plant Controller with the Fort Worth Division of The Dannon Company, where his duties at this $200M division included the financial responsibilities for Yogurt Manufacturing; Regional Sales; U.S. Customer Support; International Product Development; and U.S. Research & Development. Andrew received his B.B.A. in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Stephen Wesstrom Stephen Wesstrom joined Miramar Designs as Plant General Manager in 1997, when Miramar purchased Fridcorp. In 2001, Stephen was promoted to VP Project Management, where he still serves a pivotal role in all projects, from inception to final shipment.
Stephen was Operating Officer at Fridcorp from 1991, to 1997, when Fridcorp was purchased by Miramar. Before Fridcorp, Stephen served in leadership roles with Electric and Gas Technology, Inc. and Royal Manufacturing Company, Inc., and served as a Director of Dol Resources, Inc. from 1984 to 1997.
Tom May Tom May joined Miramar Designs in 1981. He has held many positions within the company and supervised each department before being promoted to plant supervisor. During this time, he helped expand the company's capabilities; design and produce new products; and implement new programs like the MRP system and safety program. In 2001, Tom was promoted to his current position as VP Manufacturing, where he is responsible for manufacturing, tool making, prototyping, IT, and MRP software training.
Before joining Miramar, Tom worked as a small engine mechanic for Leonard's Farm and Ranch.
Mark D. RitchmondMark Ritchmond became Miramar Designs inaugural Engineer when he joined the company in 1996, taking over responsibilities for mold production, computer modeling, value-engineering, and building the company’s Engineering Department. Mark was promoted to Engineering Director in 2001, and in this position, he is responsible for engineering, tool making, and prototyping.
Mark’s prior work experience included engineering/R&D development roles with Head Golf and Impact Golf Technologies. Mark received his B.S. in Industrial Technology form Tarleton State University.
Chris RobersonChris Roberson joined Miramar Designs as a designer in 1995, while attending the University of North Texas. In 1997 Chris was promoted to Creative Director. Since joining Miramar, Chris has been instrumental in expanding the company from an OEM and Awards Plaque manufacturer to a full service retail fixture and point-of-purchase display provider. During his tenure, Chris has received several national design awards for projects in the POP industry.
Chris received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Communication Design from The University of North Texas in 1997. While at UNT, Chris participated in two design internships, Amber Brown Design, a Fort Worth based design boutique, and Miramar Designs.
